Trick or Treat
Ok, so the other day I was asking a few of my online friends when trick or treat was in their city. They acted like I was asking a weird question. Their reply: "Isn't trick or treat on Halloween, the 31st!?!"
Well, not where I live! Or where my parents live a half hour away. For us, trick or treat is this coming Thursday, Oct. 27. Then my parents' trick or treat is Saturday, the 29th. Growing up, I remember it was always on a weird date. So I just assumed a lot of other places did it on a different date too. On the board I post on, out of around 20 people, there were only two or three of us who had t or t on a day other than Halloween.
So, it got me to wondering.... how unusual it is not to trick or treat ON Halloween?? When is trick or treat where you live?

Halloween night here. We are having a party this year and then the kids can go to only a few select neighbors on monday night.
i'm in ontario, canada, we celebrate on the 31st. i didn't think it could be moved, kind of like christmas day.
I don't have kids so I don't know all the ins and outs of Halloween here, Cathy but the only day I had kids come to my door for candy was on the 31st.
